Georgetown University is a private research university located in the quaint neighborhood of Georgetown, Washington D.C. It prides itself on being one of the oldest Jesuit institutions in the United States, and tries to incorporate Jesuit values into its liberal arts curriculum (however, it is not religiously affiliated). It’s renowned for its School of Foreign Service (SFS) and is also an excellent institution for students striving for government careers, considering it’s location in the country’s governmental hub (so there’s never a shortage of opportunities for internships). The university’s athletics teams are known as the Hoyas.
